I chose Siskiyou Physical Therapy through the phone book. The receptionist was so friendly and informative regarding insurance and scheduling so I decided to make my appointment that moment. Jon Hill took me through shoulder surgery and subsequent rehab always with a charming smile on his face. He is always able to answer any and all questions clearly. When I began having knee problems, I knew where to go. Jon recommended a surgeon and again, my recovery and therapy went quickly and smoothly. Contrary to the surgeon’s opinion, Jon assured me I would get back to the dog sport I love-agility. With all of the staff’s encouragement, I competed in my first agility trial less than 4 months post op. Everyone in the office is so positive; they made me believe in myself. What a remarkable group of professionals.
I spent my childhood in New Jersey. After graduating college, I taught band, choir and drama in various schools as I continued moving west. I started with California, then Hawaii where I taught and also attended grad school and finally Kwajaiein in the Marshall Islands. That’s where I met my husband and after 8 years overseas we moved to Grants Pass. I taught at Hanby Middle School in Gold Hill for 18 years and then I “retired” to open Home Away From Home Pet Spa. As a result of being around so many dog lovers training for various competitive dog sports, I got hooked. Now I spend lots of time training my 2 pugs in Obedience, Rally and my first love, agility. I can’t bear to think of slowing down and the superior staff at Siskiyou PT are helping me fulfill my dreams.
