I have had a pretty long and fruitful relationship with Siskiyou Physical Therapy. When I injured my shoulder I turned to my husband for advice since he had a great experience with Siskiyou PT. I had great results with Doug and the whole crew. What a great, warm, helpful bunch of professionals! I later went back to Siskiyou PT to rehab a knee replacement and a broken wrist. Again, I had great results. I highly recommend this Physical Therapy group for their professionalism and caring approach.
I have worn many hats over my lifetime. I have been a student; I have a PHD in microbiology and I continue to study and learn to this day. A teacher; I have taught biology, bacteriology, chemistry, and my favorite, belly dancing. Wife, mother and housekeeper; I have twin sons that I am extremely proud of. One is a nurse and one is a dental hygienist. I have followed my husband, a dentist through 20 years of adventure, in the Indian Health Service. We have met some of the most fascinating people in the world through IHS, seen some very beautiful country and lived in armpits of the world. 30 some years ago I discovered belly dance and it changed my life. It started as an attempt to find a fun way to get more exercise. I had grown up with an academic mind set and my studies seldom sent me down the physical arts road. I have been an artist, planting, drawing, sculpting etc., since I was young but had never pursued any form of dance or music. When I took up belly dance it opened a whole new world of expression for me and was physically good for me too.
As I look back over my life I see I have had a pretty amazing adventure.
